and have i mentioned how non drying they are đ These are lightly moisturizing and have a subtle sheen to it when you step out in the sunlight. Every single shade in the matte lipstick line-up is consistent in its finish, feel, texture, and pigmentation. these matte lipsticks are soft, creamy, and thereâs absolutely no pulling or draggint to get even coverage. LancĂ´me Color Design Matte Lipstick in Stylista
#LANCOME POSH PINK ALL DONE FULL#
Pigmentation is quite good, with full coverage in one swipe. All the colours are incredibly creamy and very moisturising which is kind of unheard of for matte lipsticks. Of course, it did not actually add moisture to my lips like a gloss or a lustre finish lipstick, but it didnât dry them out either. When I tried it I was also pleasantly surprised at how silkily it applied on the lips and how comfortable it was to wear throughout the day for a matte lip. Texture wise the Lancome Color Design Mattes have made a big splash amongst the beauty blogging community because they have none of the chalkiness, dryness, and tugging associated with matte lipsticks. LancĂ´me Color Design Matte Lipstick in Posh Pink Stylista is a very chic, non-traditional pink color that will make you look vibrant and professional. Stylista is a creamy, blue-based light nude peach â pink. Stylista is soft coral pale shade but is pigmented enough to hide the colour of my lips. This type of bright pink feels somewhat sophisticated and adds just enough drama, without veering into the tacky territory. Posh Pink is a smooth, softened down bright fuchsia-ish pink. Posh Pink is a rich, hot pink with a slight coral undertone (very slight). It has a just detectable pale gold microshimmer in it that is visible in direct sunlight- in natural light it just gives Corset a beautiful glowiness.

Theyâre creamy without being all over the place. Though there is some slip, I wouldnât describe these as slippery. Lancome attributes this to âsoft waxes and emollientsâ for âmodern glide and slipâ as well as a âlight-diffusing gelâ as a mattifying agent (as opposed to a dull powder). These are lightly moisturizing and have a bit of slip, which is so out-of-the-realm of matte lipsticks in my world. Thereâs no pulling or draggint to get even, opaque coverage. These matte lipsticks are soft, creamy, and glide on smoothly. LancĂ´me Color Design Matte Lipstick in Corset My mouth formed an âOâ as soon as I applied Stylista. (Thatâs where the pleasantly surprised bit comes in!) Like it was love at first swipe. However, regardless of how they look, they feel nothing like matte lipsticks. In natural light, they look like a more traditional matte lipstick, but in the sunlight, they have a subtle sheen.

I would describe the finish of these new lipsticks as more of a semi-matte or demi-matte. Lancome has reinvented the feel and touch and play of a matte lipstick and modernized it in a way that works.

Pleasantly, fabulously surprised! Matte lipsticks have a reputation for being chalky, drying, and difficult to work with. Thereâs only one word to sum up how I felt about Lancomeâs new matte lipsticks: SURPRISED BEYOND BELIEF. But matte formulas are often drying, and moisturizing formulas tend to slide off your mouth. I, for one, prefer rich color, slightly matte, with no sparkles, shimmer or frost. Everyoneâs in the mood for a âstatement lipâ these days, and there are zillions of offerings.
